Outrageous Okonas

Steven Klaver and Jaap Ligthart are the Outrageous Okona’s.

Steven has more than 20 years of experience as a musician. Guitar player, singer, dj, producer. Steven has done it all. He released tracks on Black Hole Recordings, Alien Recordings and In TranceWe Trust. Collaborations with Geert Huinink and DJ Emjay has made him a very experienced producer, that stands for high quality productions that got played all over the world.

Jaap Ligthart is very busy dj’ing and producing the last couple of  years. Tracks of Jaap getting releases all over the world and he plays all over the Netherlands. Jaap’s bootleg remixes are doing very well too. In the summer of 2009 Jaap made a bootleg of the James Holden remix of Kirsty Hawkshaw’s Fine Day and that was picked by some of the greatest dj’s. Sasha, Digweed, Nick Warren, Jody Wisternoff, Eelke Kleijn, Dennis Ruyer and so on. Tiesto played one of Jaaps creations in his Radioshow Club Life last march..

Together Jaap and Steven are busy producing and dj’ing as the Outrageous Okona’s. Releases with labels in Georgia, France and the US, they are stirring things up in the progressive / minimal / techno scene.
